Soroptimist International of the Foothills, Inc.

Mission Statement:  "To improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world."

Soroptimist International of the Foothills, Inc. - We are a professional women's service club committed to assisting women and children in our community through financial assistance, education, advocacy and recognition.

Established in 1983 - we are 1 of  17 clubs in District 1 of the Golden West Region.  The Golden West Region is comprised of 4 Districts and covers the territories of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties of Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso County, Texas.

 Meetings - We meet at 7:15 a.m. the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at International House of Pancakes, 80 N. Euclid, Upland, CA.  Meetings are adjourned by 8:30 a.m.  We are dark during the month of August and only meet the first Thursday in December.

Signature Project - We participate in the Soroptimist International of the Americas signature project the "Women's Opportunity Award".  This award is given to a woman "head of household" who is continuing her education to better the lives of herself and her children.  Applications are distributed throughout the community in early September and the final selection process begins in mid December. 

We gladly welcome guests to our meetings - However, membership is by invitation only.  We'd love to have you attend one of our meetings, or you can e-mail us for more detailed information about our club.
